The Online Marketer will play a pivotal role in growing the platform’s vendor base by identifying and recruiting qualified wholesale vendors and artisans in high-demand categories. This role involves clearly communicating the platform’s value proposition, guiding vendors through the onboarding process, and driving performance by implementing and optimizing digital outreach strategies. The ideal candidate is a proactive, persuasive, and tech-savvy individual with proven experience in digital marketing, vendor acquisition, and B2B sales.
Identify and recruit qualified wholesale vendors and artisans, with a focus on high-demand product and service categories.
Effectively communicate the platform’s value proposition, monetization structure, pricing system, and service expectations.
Guide vendors through end-to-end onboarding including registration, product/service listing, and profile activation.
Track onboarding performance and continuously optimize outreach strategies based on data and market feedback.
Achieve key performance metrics including daily (2) and monthly (52) vendor registration targets.
Collaborate closely with marketing and support teams to refine onboarding messaging and materials.
Use digital tools and platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, online marketplaces) to identify, engage, and convert potential vendors.
Report on performance metrics and suggest areas for improvement in the onboarding and vendor acquisition pipeline.
Minimum of ND (National Diploma) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or any relevant field.
At least 2 years’ experience in online marketing, vendor acquisition, or B2B sales—preferably in the e-commerce sector.
Proficiency in digital marketing concepts, especially digital monetization models and value-based selling.
Strong ability to engage and convert vendors/artisans via digital platforms such as WhatsApp, forums, and online marketplaces.
Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and performance tracking skills.
Demonstrated self-motivation, adaptability, and results-oriented mindset.
Comfortable using digital productivity tools such as Google Workspace, CRM systems, and spreadsheets.
