Responsibilities
Assist dentists, dental therapists, and hygienists during examinations and treatments.
Prepare and maintain the clinical environment before, during, and after procedures.
Ensure all instruments and materials are sterilized and readily available.
Welcome and prepare patients for their appointments, ensuring they feel at ease.
Provide post-treatment care instructions and answer patient queries.
Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a caring, empathetic approach.
Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols.
Clean and disinfect treatment areas and equipment after each patient.
Dispose of clinical waste according to regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records, including charting and updating medical histories.
Manage appointment schedules and communicate effectively with patients about treatments and follow-ups.
Requirement and Skills
ND/HND in Dental Science Technology with 1 year post school and clinical experience.
