Job Summary

The Frontend React/Next.js Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing responsive, high-performance web applications for remittance, payment, merchant, POS, and eCommerce platforms. The role will work closely with backend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver intuitive, secure, and scalable user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js.
• Develop secure checkout flows and integrate payment solutions.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs for payments, wallets, orders, and reporting.
• Build reusable UI components and maintain design systems.
• Optimise applications for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, backend, product) to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs, performance issues, and cross-browser compatibility problems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.

Requirement and Skills

• Professional experience developing applications with React and Next.js.
• Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills.
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
• Experience building payment, checkout, or administrative web applications.
• Experience with headless commerce platforms or eCommerce solutions.
• Familiarity with WebSockets or real-time data updates.
• Experience working with design systems and tools such as Storybook or Figma.
• Good understanding of web performance optimisation and accessibility standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative technology environment.
