Job Summary

The Flutter Mobile Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. The role will focus on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions for payment, remittance, wallet, merchant, agent, and POS-related platforms while ensuring seamless integration with backend services and third-party payment technologies.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
* Build intuitive, responsive, and high-performance mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
* Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs supporting wallets, payments, KYC, transaction history, notifications, and related services.
* Implement secure authentication mechanisms, including biometrics, PIN, OTP, and secure local storage.
* Integrate payment SDKs, QR-code scanning functionality, POS/card-reader technologies, and other mobile payment capabilities.
* Implement push notifications, deep linking, and offline-first functionality where required.
* Optimise application performance, responsiveness, stability, and memory usage across different mobile devices.
* Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, product teams, QA, and other technical stakeholders.
* Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable application components.
* Implement appropriate application security measures to protect user information and transaction data.
* Conduct unit, widget, and integration testing and resolve identified defects.
* Monitor application crashes, performance issues, and user experience challenges and implement appropriate improvements.
* Manage application versioning and releases across the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
* Maintain technical documentation relating to application architecture, integrations, releases, and development processes.
* Stay updated on Flutter, Dart, mobile development, payment technology, and security best practices.

Requirement and Skills

* Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
* Proven professional experience developing Flutter applications using Dart for both Android and iOS.
* Strong understanding of Flutter application architecture and mobile development best practices.
* Practical experience with state-management frameworks such as Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, or similar.
* Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
* Experience integrating payment SDKs or financial technology services is highly desirable.
* Experience working with QR scanners, POS devices, card readers, or other mobile hardware integrations will be an advantage.
* Practical knowledge of push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and mobile application monitoring.
* Experience implementing biometric authentication and secure key/storage mechanisms.
* Understanding of mobile application security, data protection, and secure API communication.
* Experience with Google Play Store and Apple App Store deployment and release management.
* Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced technology environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality user experiences.
