Job Summary
The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will be responsible for developing and leading the enterprise security strategy for a leading Agribusiness Enterprise, protecting employees, assets, facilities, executives, and business operations across all locations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement enterprise-wide security policies, strategies, and governance frameworks.
Lead physical security operations across farms, offices, warehouses, feed mills, and other business locations.
Conduct security risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Develop and oversee emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
Lead investigations into theft, fraud, vandalism, misconduct, and other security-related incidents.
Build and manage a competent security team, including training and performance management.
Liaise with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and external security agencies as required.
Provide security advisory support to executive management and the board.
Monitor emerging security threats and continuously enhance the organisation's security posture.
Requirement and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminology, Political Science, Law, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
Master's degree in Security Studies, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISM, ASIS, or equivalent are an added advantage.
Minimum of 10–12 years of progressive experience in corporate security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of physical security operations, risk assessment, and crisis management.
