Job Summary

We are presently recruiting for Business Executive Officers who can identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals

Our client Specialties are in the following: Life Sciences, Training, Independent Analytical Laboratory, Vendor Managed Inventory, Laboratory Services , Engineering Support Services , Consultancy, Laboratory Supply Chain , Logistics, Schools Digital Science, Laboratory Initiative, and STEM Initiative

Responsibilities

Generate sales from new prospects.

Generate sales from existing Customers.

Implement Business Development Plans (details of activities to follow during the fiscal year) for the team in conjunction with Business Development Supervisor / Manager and assist in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and customers, the various solutions the company offers to their businesses.

Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners and managers, direct mail, email, and networking.

Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, tenders, closed sales and follow-up activities within team’s assigned area of coverage.

Delivery and supervision of goods to customer in good condition.

Ensure Customer satisfaction and Customer relationship management.

Timely escalation of to Line Manager, issues that cannot be resolved.

Requirement and Skills

Tertiary qualification (B.Sc. /B. Tech. /H.N.D.) in Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or any other Science related course.

2-3 years’ cognate work experience as Sales Personnel for Science & Lab. Equipment or similar industry.

Experience as a business development/ marketer/ sales executive preferably in the health sector

Relevant professional qualifications preferred

Advanced skills in Excel.
