We are looking for a Merchandiser who will ensures that the shelves of our clients retail store are stocked with products and displays them accordingly for customers. The ideal Merchandiser is expected to track inventory levels, report any issues or shortages to management and clean up unwanted items from flagrant violations in-store decorum.
Ensure that shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products.
Display, arrange, and accurately tag product items on shelves within the aisle,
Maintain store shelves by removing outdated or damaged products,
Monitor and report on aisle inventory to immediately replace items sold item off the shelves, that is to ensure quick replenishment of products purchased.
Up-sell and Cross-sell products items to drive sales,
Work and communicate to understand and meet customers' needs.
Ensure availability, visibility and accessibility of products on the shelves at all time.
Ensure all products are displayed neatly all the time.
Help customers to locate products on the shelves.
Give customers a brief information about product(s), especially new products.
Requirement and Skills
Previous experience in merchandising or retail preferred.
Strong organisational and decision making skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
